Program Description:

The Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Exceptional Student Education in the Department of Special Education at the University of South Florida is a nationally-accredited (NCATE) graduate program. The program is delivered 100% online and offers concentration areas in Behavior Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities and Exceptional Student Education. The program is best suited for individuals with a background in education, special education or a closely related field. Although the program offers individuals the opportunity to develop advanced knowledge and skills in special education, it does not result in teacher certification.
