Description:

We are recruiting mothers living in the greater Tampa Bay area and their adolescent daughters (13-19 years old) with high-functioning ASD. We are looking for girls who have expressive language skills that would allow them to share their experiences in a face-to-face interview.  We are conducting a study of the life experiences of girls with Autism Spectrum Disorder from their own and their mothers’ perspectives. We are particularly interested in the girls’ experiences in school.  We will be recruiting girls starting at age 12 in the near future.
