Dr. Rose Iovannone is an Assistant Professor of Child and Family Studies and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the University of South Florida. Dr. Iovannone is currently the Principal Investigator/Director of the USF Florida Diagnostic Learning and Resource System-Multidisciplinary Clinic and a project consultant on the Florida Positive Behavior Support project. Previously, Dr. Iovannone served as Director of an Institute of Education Sciences (IES) funded randomized control group trial of the Prevent-Teach-Reinforce Project (PTR). She has also served as Co- Principal Investigator on a Florida Center for Inclusive Communities (FCIC) subcontract for the Professional Development in Autism Project funded by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). In addition, she served as Principal Investigator for several state funded grants including Autism System of Care. She has published several journal articles and book chapters in the area of functional assessment, functionally derived intervention, positive behavior support, and evidence-based strategies for students with autism and is currently working on numerous manuscripts related to research outcomes of the PTR study.
