Dr. Tanya Murphy is a board certified adult and child psychiatrist with considerable clinical and research experience in autism. She holds the Rothman Endowed Chair of Developmental Pediatrics, and is a Professor in Pediatrics and Psychiatry. She has received numerous past National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants as a Principal Investigator and Co- Principal Investigator for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), various other anxiety disorders, tic disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. Her primary research focus is on immunological factors in neuropsychiatric conditions. She has considerable experience in working with patients with autism across a number of domains, including past roles as study Principal Investigator or co-investigator on numerous NIH, foundation, and industry sponsored trials involving patients with autism, as well as clinical experience with patients at the USF Rothman Center for Pediatric Neuropsychiatry.
