Dr. Salvatore D. Morgera is Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of South Florida and Emeritus Professor at Florida Atlantic University. His research areas of interest include: Communication Systems, Signal Processing, Bioengineering, Neuroscience and Neuroengineering. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and AAAS and has been honored for breakthroughs and innovation in the understanding of the fundamental role played by endogenous electric fields to nerve fiber regeneration and remyelination.
